Lockheed Martin has long been dedicated to volunteerism within the communities where their offices are located. For the past decade, employees have logged an average of 1.2M hours of volunteer service annually to advance the causes that are important to them.

Occasionally, Lockheed Martin also hosts employee Service Days. On October 21, employees across the country participated in the organization's "Be the Difference Day", which was dedicated to making a difference in the lives of veterans and their families.

According to the Lockheed Martin website, "As our military serves proudly to keep us safe, their families serve, too. With our nonprofit partners, we support the active duty force and their families. We are (also) committed to enabling transitioning veterans and their families to connect with their communities and find new purpose as they reintegrate into civilian life."
