First Tennessee Bank is giving volunteers the opportunity to earn a free weekend pass to the MEMPHO Music Festival which will be held at Shelby Farms Park on Oct. 6th and 7th.

Does it sound too good to be true? It's not.

You'll give four hours of your time at one of the MEMPHO Impact Projects, which will be hosted at the park, and you'll earn a free weekend pass.

Projects Include:

Shelby Farms Greenline Trailhead Rehab with Clean Memphis
On Sept. 14, we'll meet at Greenline Trailhead to repair and rehab the trail by removing invasive plants that threaten native species and beautify the park.

Shelby Farms Old Pine Lake Playground Upgrade
On Sept. 19, we'll meet at Shelby Farms Old Pine Lake Parking Area to refurbish parts of the old playground, which marks the entry to the Pine Forest.

Germantown Road Trailhead Rehab with Wolf River Conservancy
On Sept. 21, we'll refurbish the wildlife viewing pontoon and resurface the boat launch access roads and ramp. We'll also build picnic benches, create garden beds, place bird nesting boxes, and remove invasive plants.

Environmental Education Initiative with Memphis Tilth
On Sept. 23, we'll meet at the Shelby Farms Greenline Gardens at the corner of Farm Road and Mullins Station to refurbish the park’s outdoor classroom. There, we will build benches, bird nesting boxes, and bat houses. Finally, we will repair and refurbish the greenhouse.

Shelby Park Farms Pavilion 7 Upgrade
